Job Title: Dog Daycare Attendant

Location: MonaVale 2103
Employment Type: Casual OR Part-Time / Full-Time

About the Role

We're looking for a reliable, energetic and dog-loving Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. You'll be responsible for providing a safe, clean and fun environment for dogs of all breeds, sizes and personalities. If you're passionate about animal care and enjoy working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and safely manage groups of dogs during daycare sessions.
Monitor dog behaviour and encourage appropriate social interactions.
Maintain a clean and hygienic facility, including play areas, kennels and equipment.
Feed dogs and administer medications where required (training provided if needed).
Conduct health and wellbeing checks, reporting any concerns to management.
Assist with customer drop-offs and pick-ups, providing friendly and professional service - if NonProvisional Australian licence held.
Ensure all safety procedures and animal welfare standards are followed.
Support the team with general cleaning, laundry and other daily tasks.

About You

Genuine passion for dogs and animal welfare.
Confident handling dogs of various breeds, sizes and temperaments.
Calm, observant and able to respond appropriately in different situations.
Physically fit and capable of being on your feet, lifting up to 20 kg and working in varying weather.
Reliable, punctual and a strong team player.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Previous experience working with dogs is highly regarded but not essential.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a dog daycare, boarding kennel, veterinary clinic, grooming salon or animal shelter.
Animal care qualifications (Certificate II or III in Animal Care or similar) are an advantage.
Current First Aid Certificate (preferred).
NON provisional Australian Driver's licence (preferred).
