Transcend Workforce is seeking a Storeperson with leadership skills to join our client in Mildura, a well-established Australian steel supplier servicing the construction, fabrication, engineering and manufacturing industries.

What you will be doing:

Pick and pack customer orders
Load and unload trucks
Cut steel and operate machinery, including overhead cranes, forklifts and processing machines
Provide excellent customer service
Ensure all tasks are carried out safely

The hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:06pm.
The hourly rate for this position is $38.95 per hour.

What you will bring:

A current High Risk Work Licence (Forklift) is required
A strong regard for safety and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
A proactive attitude and excellent customer service skills
Overhead crane experience and previous experience within the steel industry will be highly regarded

Please note: The successful applicant will be required to complete a pre-employment medical as part of the recruitment process, including drug and alcohol testing.
