THE OPPORTUNITY:

Reporting to the Lead Document Controller, this role will be undertaking a range of document control activities in accordance with established company processes and procedures and play a key role in supporting the Company’s growth profile and project diversification and ensuring compliance across multiple project and company departments.

This is a permanent full-time role based at our beautiful West Perth office, near the City West train station.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Receive, workflow, and distribute all incoming and outgoing data in accordance with established procedures.
Generate transmittals
Assist in the collation and distribution of tenders and RFQ’s within the tender module
provide progress reporting
Expedite the review and approval of documentation.
Collaborate with various departments and suppliers to collect, review, and update related documents.
Ensure ongoing education and training of the Document Management System to personnel
Assist wider team members with system issues, document formation and other process requirements.
Ensure all document management standards and best practices are followed
Engagement with vendors, fabricators, and contractors

ABOUT YOU:

2-5 years experience in a document control role
Previous experience with cloud-based project document management systems, Aconex experience an advantage.
Strong Working Knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite, advance Excel and Word knowledge advantageous
Ability to work across numerous tasks and maintain a high standard
High level attention to detail
An understanding of the construction and mining industry
Ability to work as part of a team and independently
You enjoy a varied workload, have strong time management skills and enjoy liaising with a wide variety of people.
