Robyn’s Nest Lakeside Resort is seeking an experienced and passionate Cook to join our growing culinary team.
Located on the beautiful Sapphire Coast, our resort is home to two unique dining venues:
- Goodenia Dumplings – specialising in authentic dumplings and Asian favourites.
- The Lakeside – our signature restaurant showcasing fresh Asian-inspired cuisine.

About the Role
Working across both restaurant venues, you’ll play an important role in delivering consistently high-quality food and exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and cooking a variety of Asian-inspired dishes to a high standard.
- Assisting with food preparation, portioning and presentation.
- Monitoring food quality, cooking times and consistency during service.
- Working closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team.
- Maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness and hygiene.
- Assisting with stock control, stock rotation and inventory management.
- Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and work areas.
- Contributing ideas for new dishes, menu improvements and seasonal specials.
About You
You will have:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a commercial kitchen.
· A current Food Safety Supervisor (FSS) Certificate, or willingness to obtain.
· A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate, or willingness to obtain.
- Experience with Asian cuisine (preferred).
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to remain calm and work efficiently during busy service periods.
· A positive attitude and enjoyment of working as part of a team.
- A genuine passion for producing quality food.
