Salary - $75,000 - $85,000

Full-time - 38 Hours per week

Qualified Baker – Bakers Delight Bannockburn VIC

Ability to be available to work a flexible roster, which will include shifts from 2 AM to 10:00AM.
This is a full-time position, offering approximately 38 hours per week.

Bakers Delight Bannockburn is seeking motivated, enthusiastic and energetic Qualified Baker to join the Bakery.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation and production of quality bakery products to Bakers Delight. Training will be provided for BDH recipe.
Inspect equipment and premises before production to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
Evaluate raw materials and weigh ingredients to maintain quality standards.
Mix, knead, mature, cut, mould, and shape dough and pastry goods.
Prepare pastry fillings for various baked products.
Operate machines for rolling and moulding dough.
Monitor oven temperatures and product appearance to determine optimal baking times.
Coordinate the forming, baking, cooling, and de-panning of bread, rolls, and pastry batches.
Glaze buns and pastries and decorate fruit products with icing or cream.
Clean grease and empty baking trays, tins, and equipment after use.

To be considered for this role you need to be able to meet the following selection criteria.

Ability to be available for work across the 7 days of the week, which may include evening work and some public holidays (starting times can be as early as 2am)
Work in a fast-paced team environment and communicate with customers and staff.
Portray a positive attitude
Complete duties as directed by your manager/supervisor
Abide by company policies and procedures at all times
Train, develop and supervise apprentices and staff in the Bakery Department
Have an eye for detail
Applicants with Minimum of 3 years’ experience or Certificate III in Baking, as a Baker will have advantage for this role.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
