Lithgow City Council has an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Painter to join their team in Lithgow, NSW.
Reporting to the Works Coordinator - Buildings, you will be responsible to enhance Council buildings by programmed annual painting maintenance in a tradesman like manner.
More specifically, your duties will include (but will not be limited to):
- Plan paint maintenance programs
- Organise resources
- Paint Council buildings/structure
- Maintain vehicle
- Respond to Emergency Calls
The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
- Current Class C Drivers Licence
- Trade Certificate - Painting
- Experience in painting
- Demonstrated commitment to and understanding of Work Health and Safety
- Demonstrated commitment to the principles of honesty and integrity
An ideal candidate will also also have experience in:
- Working within a team environment
- Ability to use various computer systems
- Ability to program work
- Assess capital works and program
- Scaffold tickets / Working at Heights

- Between $1,223.90 and $1,353.19 per week, commensurate with your skills, qualifications and experience
