We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Venue Supervisor to join the team at The Coach in Ringwood.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supervising the venue during service, supporting the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences, and ensuring the venue operates safely, efficiently and in line with all regulatory and company requirements.
Working closely with the Venue Manager, you will lead by example on shift, support and coach team members, maintain high service standards and help drive the venue's operational and financial performance.

The Coach is our newly renovated dining and entertainment complex located in the heart of Ringwood. From the moment you walk into the venue, the warmth and friendliness makes you already feel at home.
A modern new Bistro specialising in a family friendly environment, offering an extensive a la carte menu whilst delivering quality customer service, catering to all. Not to mention the relocation of the Sports Bar, with a dedicated menu and a newly developed alfresco area. Making it the perfect place to watch the game, or simply enjoy a beverage, relax and unwind.
Pegasus Leisure Group (PLG) is the hospitality arm of the Melbourne Racing Club, managing a growing network of 17 pubs, clubs and hospitality venues across Victoria. Our venues include bistros, sports bars, function spaces and gaming areas, each focused on delivering great hospitality experiences within their local communities.
What You’ll Be Doing

Lead and supervise the team on shift, ensuring staff are briefed, supported and delivering consistently high standards of customer service.

Oversee day-to-day venue operations, including food and beverage service, bookings, venue presentation, stock, opening and closing procedures and operational checklists.

Support the Venue Manager and Manager on Duty with revenue, labour and cost control, while ensuring a safe, efficient and well-run venue.

Ensure all company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements across food and beverage, gaming, wagering, responsible gambling and cash handling are consistently followed.

Coach and develop team members on shift, provide feedback and address customer or operational issues promptly and professionally.
What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within hospitality, gaming, wagering or a similar venue environment.

Demonstrated understanding of gaming regulations, licensing requirements, and legal obligations.
- A confident and hands-on leader who leads by example and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.

Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment.

Flexibility to work across a hospitality roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
