Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our dynamic team in Kyneton, Victoria. The Estimator will play a crucial role in the building and construction industry by providing accurate cost estimates for projects, ensuring that we remain competitive and profitable. This permanent, full-time position is ideal for a mid-senior level professional looking to contribute to our ongoing success and growth.

Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates for building and construction projects based on drawings, specifications, and other relevant documents.
Analyse labour, material, and overhead costs to provide comprehensive estimates.
Maintain and update a database of costs and pricing to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
Provide support during the project lifecycle, including cost tracking and reporting.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years' experience in estimating within the building and construction industry.
Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
