Position: Retail Store Manager (Full-time)

Salary: AUD $70,000 – $85,000 per annum plus superannuation (depending on experience)

Employment Type: Permanent Full-time (38 hours per week)

SG HUB PTY LTD, trading as Cignall Kingaroy, is a retail convenience and tobacco store committed to providing excellent customer service, quality products and an enjoyable shopping experience. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Store Manager to lead our store operations and support the continued growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations of the retail store.
Lead, supervise, train and motivate store staff to achieve business objectives.
Prepare staff rosters and monitor employee performance.
Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve customer enquiries and complaints professionally.
Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to maximise revenue and profitability.
Manage inventory, stock ordering, stock rotation and stocktakes.
Ensure accurate cash handling, banking and point-of-sale (POS) operations.
Maintain visual merchandising and store presentation standards.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, workplace health and safety requirements, and applicable Australian retail legislation.
Minimise stock loss through effective security and loss prevention procedures.
Liaise with suppliers and maintain strong business relationships.
Prepare operational and sales reports for management.

Essential Requirements

At least two years of relevant experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role; or a relevant qualification with appropriate experience.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Experience with inventory management and POS systems.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced retail environment.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays when required.
