The Role
We’re currently looking for a qualified Registered Nurse currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and at least one full year of nursing experience.
The Registered Nurse performs reception screening and comprehensive health assessments on persons received into custody whilst assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing management.
Our Location
The Kariong Intake and Transit Centre is an intake and transit centre for classified inmates transitioning between Sydney and the NSW north coast. It also houses fresh custody remand inmates awaiting placement. Kariong Intake and Transit Centre is located in the Central Coast region of New South Wales, approximately 90 minutes north of Sydney and 15 minutes west of Gosford. Nestled within a semi-rural setting, the facility is easily accessible via the M1 Pacific Motorway, offering a convenient commute for staff from both Sydney and Newcastle.
