An opportunity has presented itself for a Qualified Locomotive Driver to join the team at our intermodal terminal in Junee NSW.
What You’ll Do
-
Safely prepare and operate locomotives and trains in compliance with operational procedures.

Perform and coordinate shunting movements independently and with Shift Supervisors.

Prepare locomotives for train operations, including system checks and compliance documentation.

Monitor train performance and work towards Delivered In-Full, On-Time (DIFOT) targets.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet customer and operational requirements.

Support and promote Pacific National’s safety culture and values.
What You’ll Bring

Accredited and fully qualified Locomotive Driver (please attach your Certificate IV in Train Driving during the application process).

Proven locomotive driving experience.

Customer-focused approach and commitment to ongoing development.

High regard for safety and compliance.
-
Positive, team-focused attitude with ability to work autonomously.

Basic computer literacy.

Current motor vehicle licence (essential).
-
Flexibility to work a 24/7 roster, including local and barracks work.
