About the Creswell Health Centre
Located at Jervis Bay at HMAS Creswell on the east coast of NSW. Approximately a 20-minute drive from its sister base HMAS Albatross, the Creswell Clinic provides primary medical, nursing, mental health, pharmaceutical and physiotherapy services. It also supports the bi-annual intake of New Entry Officer Cadets and services up to 3200 ADF members. Standard hours of operation are generally 0730-1530 Monday to Friday.

What you’ll do

Work Monday to Friday keeping the clinic running smoothly by providing fast, accurate, and professional clerical and administrative support to health staff and patients.
Manage electronic and hard copy health records and data in accordance with Defence policies, privacy requirements, and compliance standards.
Coordinate appointments and liaise effectively with internal and external health service providers to support continuity of care and timely access to patient information.
Prepare reports, update health and personnel management systems, and assist with auditing activities to support operational and compliance requirements.
Support day-to-day clinic operations through filing, mail distribution, photocopying, ordering stationery and stores, and processing supply requests.

What you bring

Minimum of 1 year of full-time (or part-time equivalent) experience in an administrative role. (Medical setting highly desirable)
Completion of a medical terminology course from a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), or willingness to complete
Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Sound computer literacy and experience with electronic health record systems highly regarded.
