Employment Term: Maximum Term to 30 June 2027, Part-Time (30.4 hours per week)
Location: Ipswich / Caboolture / Maroochydore / Brisbane (flexible base location)
Remuneration: $65.39 p/h + Super + NFP Salary Packaging (increase your take-home pay)

Your part in our UnitingCare team
As the Services Manager, you will be responsible for the operational performance, sustainability and continuous improvement of Men's Behaviour Change and Counselling Services across multiple locations.
Reporting to the State-wide Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership, ensuring services are safe, effective, compliant and responsive to the diverse needs of clients and communities, including First Nations peoples and culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
You will lead a multi-layered workforce, drive service excellence, manage operational risks and budgets, and contribute to the ongoing development of integrated responses across the domestic and family violence sector.
Please note: This role may participate in a shared on-call roster and may require availability outside standard business hours.
Key responsibilities:
Lead the operational delivery, quality and performance of Men's Behaviour Change and Counselling Services.
Drive service development, innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead, coach and develop Service Leaders to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
Ensure services meet funding, legislative, regulatory and organisational requirements.
Oversee risk management, safeguarding, incident response and workplace health and safety obligations.
Manage program budgets, service reporting and performance outcomes.
Build and maintain strong relationships with government, community and sector stakeholders.
Strengthen integrated responses across the domestic and family violence and broader community services sectors.
Support strategic planning, organisational change and service growth opportunities.
What makes a difference for us?
A relevant tertiary qualification (minimum bachelor’s degree) in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Behavioural or Social Science, or an equivalent combination of qualifications and experience.
Extensive experience managing complex service delivery programs and multidisciplinary teams.
Demonstrated success in operational leadership, workforce management and service performance.
Strong financial management, reporting and budget oversight experience.
Highly developed communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
Ability to analyse complex issues, exercise sound judgement and implement practical solutions.
Strong understanding of Men's Behaviour Change practice and domestic and family violence service systems.
Experience developing effective community engagement and partnership strategies.
Commitment to working within organisational values and maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and workplace health and safety requirements.
Current Queensland Driver’s Licence
Valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
