About the Role
Due to the continued growth of the business and increasing international and domestic procurement activities, the volume and complexity of procurement and supplier contracts have increased significantly, we are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join our team, a critical role that ensures proper administration of all commercial contracts, effective management of supplier relationships, accurate maintenance of procurement documentation and efficient product delivery to support the company's continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
l Draft, review and manage all commercial contracts signed with suppliers, manufacturers and service providers for the company.
l Oversee full contract performance to ensure all clauses are effectively implemented, and support resolution of operational issues and supplier disputes during execution.
l Liaise with local Australian and overseas suppliers on contract performance, price adjustments, product specifications and delivery scheduling.
l Support management in order negotiation, contract renewal and amendment, monitor supplier performance and proactively identify potential contractual risks.
l Coordinate procurement documents, supplier agreements and procurement records, and assist management to continuously optimize procurement efficiency and supplier partnership.
l Establish and maintain a complete, accurate contract archive and document management system.
l Coordinate import and procurement-related documentation required for international sourcing processes.
l Collaborate closely with cross-functional internal teams to ensure the contract management workflow runs efficiently.
l Safeguard all commercial and contractual information with strict confidentiality protocols.
l Undertake other contract management related tasks assigned by the company.
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
l A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Management, Supply Chain, Engineering or a related field.
l 10+ years of hands-on experience in contract, procurement or commercial administration
l Proven track record managing large public sector projects, commercial supply chains and multi-party supplier relationships or international suppliers will be highly preferred.
l Prior working experience in construction, building materials is strongly preferred.
l Ability to interpret commercial contracts and maintain accurate documentation.
l Excellent organisational and time management skills.
l Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
l High attention to detail.
l Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
l Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
