Join the team at Maven Dental Invermay as a Part-time Dental Assistant/Receptionist!

Located conveniently in Launceston, the practice provides a welcoming environment where our clinicians utilize state-of-the-art techniques to ensure gentle, compassionate care for every patient. If you're passionate about delivering exceptional dental experiences and being part of a friendly, professional team, we'd love to hear from you!

While experience in Dental Assisting is preferred, it’s not a requirement. If you believe you have the skills and passion to thrive in the dental industry, we encourage you to submit your application!

Job Description

As a Dental Assistant/Receptionist, you will have close working relationships with patients, clinicians and other support staff and report to the Practice Manager.

This is a fast-paced role where no two days are the same. You will be someone who enjoys working closely within a team and providing upstanding customer care. Other responsibilities include:

Assist our Clinicians in providing high-quality dental care to patients.
Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures.
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow and exceptional patient experience.
Reception duties - meeting & greeting patients, general and booking enquiries, record keeping, payment & insurance processing.

Qualifications

Experience as a Dental Assistant/Receptionist is preferred, but not essential.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
A positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
