Full Job Description

Masala Bite is looking for a hands-on Restaurant Supervisor to lead our front-of-house team and ensure a smooth, high-quality dining experience for every guest. You will coordinate service, support and develop staff, and help keep day-to-day operations running efficiently.

Key duties and responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff during service, allocating tasks and stations;
Oversee the quality and timeliness of food and beverage service and guest satisfaction;
Train, roster support and mentor waiting and service staff;
Handle guest bookings, enquiries and complaints professionally and promptly;
Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling and end-of-shift reconciliation;
Monitor stock of front-of-house supplies and liaise with kitchen and management; and
Ensure compliance with responsible service, food safety, hygiene and WHS requirements.

Skills and experience required

Relevant experience in a hospitality supervisory or team-leader role (a relevant qualification is well regarded);
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and coordinate a front-of-house team;
Strong customer service, communication and problem-solving skills;
Sound understanding of restaurant operations, cash handling and rostering support;
Knowledge of responsible service of alcohol, food safety and WHS practices;
Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays on a rostered basis; and
Working rights in Australia (or eligibility to be sponsored).
Australian Citizen or permanent resident are encouraged to apply.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
