About the role
Home Care Hervey Bay is looking for caring and reliable individuals to assist seniors in their homes with everyday tasks, companionship, and social support. If you have a passion for helping others and a positive attitude, we will provide the necessary training to support you in this role.
As a Home Care Worker, you will:

Provide friendly companionship and emotional support to clients.

Assist with household tasks such as light cleaning, meal preparation, and shopping.

Support clients with transport to appointments and community activities.
-
Encourage independence and well-being in a home environment.
What we're looking for
This role is perfect for someone who is compassionate, reliable, and eager to make a difference - Providing personalised assistance to clients, helping them maintain their independence and enhancing their quality of life within their chosen community. You will be a valued member of the team, working closely with and reporting to our very supportive Senior Home Care Workers as needed.
Our ideal candidate is:

Currently holds, or working towards a Certificate 3 in Individual Support

A current driver's license and a reliable, registered, and comprehensively insured vehicle suitable for work purposes are essential for this role. (Reimbursement of $0.96 per KM is provided for use of own vehicle)

Currently holds, or willing to obtain a current police check

Hold a valid Australian Work Rights - Unfortunately we are not currently able to sponsor
