Job Description

Your role and impact:

At Good Sammy, we believe in creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. Our retail stores not only offer hidden gem products but also provide meaningful opportunities for individuals with disabilities develop new skills and build confidence in the workplace.

As a Part Time Retail Assistant, you will assist with the day-to-day operations of our store, receiving and preparing goods for sale, ensuring an exceptional customer experience, and supporting our employees, including those with disabilities.

On your cover letter, please select and state only one of the following Part Time Shifts available:

Shift A) 20 hours per fortnight - REQ 513 - Week 1 - Monday (1.00pm - 5.00pm), and Week 2 - Monday (1.00pm - 5.00pm), Friday (12.00pm - 5pm) and Saturday (9.30am - 5.00pm) - Per annum: $16, 814.72 + 12% Superannuation - $2,017.77

Shift B) 19 hours per fortnight - REQ 512 - Week 1 - Tuesday (9.00am - 12.00pm) and Wednesday (1.00pm - 5.00pm), and Week 2 - Tuesday (9.00am - 12.00pm), Wednesday (1.00pm - 5.00pm) and Sunday (11.45am - 4.45pm) - Per annum: $ 16,991.52 + 12% Superannuation $ 2,038.98

To make an impact at Good Sammy, you will bring along with you your previous experiences you have gathered in retail, having a strong understanding of store operations.

You will have a proven commitment to inclusivity and supporting individuals with disabilities whilst possessing excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. Additionally, strong organisational and problem-solving abilities are essential, along with a passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive shopping experience.
