We are seeking a motivated Pharmacy Assistant Grade 1-2 (Technician) to join our Pharmacy Procurement and Inventory Management team and support the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of pharmacy services across the District.
About the Opportunity
As a Pharmacy Assistant Grade 1-2 (Technician), you will work under the supervision of a pharmacist to support medication dispensing, distribution, stock management, and pharmacy operations. This role is instrumental in ensuring medicines are available when and where they are needed while supporting quality patient care across CCLHD.
In this role you will:

Assist with the dispensing, distribution, and supply of medications in accordance with pharmacy policies and legislative requirements.

Manage pharmaceutical stock, including ordering, receipting, storage, inventory control, and stock rotation activities.

Identify and escalate medication discrepancies, stock issues, and potential risks to senior pharmacy staff.

Provide administrative and clerical support to maintain efficient day-to-day pharmacy operations.

Support quality improvement, waste reduction, and cost-management initiatives across pharmacy services.
