About the Role
We are seeking experienced and safety-focused HR Vacuum Tanker Operators to join a growing industrial services team. This is a hands-on role involving the operation of vacuum tanker trucks and specialist equipment across a variety of industrial, commercial, and environmental service projects.
Working as part of a dedicated crew, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality industrial cleaning and liquid waste services while maintaining strict safety and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive and operate HR vacuum tanker trucks
- Complete daily job setup and pack-down activities
- Perform drain cleaning and manual handling tasks
- Operate vacuum loading equipment and high-pressure water blasting systems
- Assist with liquid waste collection and disposal operations
- Conduct basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment
- Follow all company safety procedures and industry regulations
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure successful project delivery
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Essential Requirements
- Current HR Driver's Licence
- Clean driving record with a strong safety focus
- Experience within the liquid waste, vacuum tanker, NDD, industrial services, or industrial cleaning industry
- Experience operating vacuum loading equipment and/or high-pressure water blasting equipment
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and manual handling tasks
- Reliable transport to travel to and from the depot
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including Drug & Alcohol testing
Desirable
- Confined Space Entry ticket
- Working at Heights ticket
- High Pressure Water Jetting experience
- Dangerous Goods awareness or waste industry experience
- Additional truck licences (HC/MC)
