Position: Cook (Full-time)

Salary: $80,000 per annum plus superannuation

Employment Type: Full-time (38 hours per week)

About Us

Burrito Bar Dalby is a vibrant Mexican-inspired restaurant dedicated to serving fresh, high-quality food with exceptional customer service. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Cook to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of Mexican-inspired dishes in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
Assist with menu planning and the development of new menu items.
Ensure all food is prepared, presented, and stored in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
Monitor food quality, portion control, and kitchen presentation.
Manage stock rotation and assist with ordering kitchen supplies.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and equipment.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure efficient service.
Follow Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements at all times.

Essential Requirements

Certificate III or Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
At least two years of relevant cooking experience.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
