The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef de Partie to join our talented kitchen team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a culinary professional who thrives in a premium dining environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality food experiences that perfectly complement our acclaimed wine program.
Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will play a key role in maintaining culinary excellence, supporting service delivery, and contributing to the ongoing success of one of Melbourne's most unique hospitality venues.

In this role, you will:

Prepare, cook and present dishes to the highest standard, ensuring consistency and quality at every service.
Take ownership of your designated section, maintaining organisation, efficiency, and attention to detail.
Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations and service execution.
Assist with stock control, ordering, rotation, and minimising wastage.
Ensure food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards are maintained at all times.
Support the training and development of your brigade.
Contribute ideas for menu development and seasonal offerings.
Work collaboratively with the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or a strong Demi Chef ready to take the next step.
Experience within a premium restaurant, wine bar, hotel, or elevated dining environment.
A genuine passion for food, hospitality, and creating memorable guest experiences.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to perform under pressure during busy service periods.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Sound knowledge of food safety, kitchen operations, and quality standards.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
