We’re seeking a passionate Nursery Lead Educator to join our team at Busy Bees at Chinchilla , located at 3 Braithwaite Street Chinchilla , on a full-time basis . You will play a key role leading the daily learning program within your room (0-2y), supporting educators, and creating a safe and engaging learning environment where children thrive.
What you’ll do
- Lead the planning and implementation of a high-quality educational program aligned with the EYLF
- Inspire and mentor Educators within your room
- Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with families and the local community
- Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and centre policies
- Support children’s development, wellbeing, and learning outcomes through engaging play-based experiences
What you’ll bring
- A genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up, always doing the right thing, and alignment with Busy Bees values
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification
- Current - Working with Children Check for QLD.
- Demonstrated experience leading a room within an early learning environment
- Strong knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- A collaborative and supportive leadership style
