About the Role:
Kick-start your career in paediatric dietetics with Monash Children's Hospital. Join our supportive Nutrition and Dietetics team and provide evidence-based nutrition care to infants, children and adolescents across General Paediatrics, Paediatric Cardiology and Paediatric Neurology.
In this role, you will:
Deliver nutrition assessment, intervention and management across a diverse paediatric caseload
Partner with children, families and multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best possible outcomes
Be primarily based at Monash Children's Hospital, Clayton, with occasional travel to other Monash Children's sites
You'll be supported by an experienced team of paediatric dietitians through structured onboarding, supervision, mentoring and ongoing professional development, giving you the confidence to build your skills in a collaborative and rewarding clinical environment.
About Us:
Monash Children’s Hospital is one of Australia’s leading providers of integrated children’s health services, with more than 30 specialist services and programs. We have Victoria’s largest Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and provide leading paediatric services in many areas including Rehabilitation & Oncology. Allied Health at Monash Children’s Hospital provides specialised services to paediatric patients across the continuum including inpatients, outpatients and via Hospital in the Home.
About You:
To thrive in this role, you will bring the following:
Hold a Dietitians Australia accredited dietetics degree or hold a Dietitians Australia mutually recognised dietetics degree from New Zealand or have passed the Dietitians Dietetic Skills Recognition (DSR) process
Eligibility for membership of Dietitians Australia
Eligibility for Accredited Practising APD membership
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in the paediatric setting
Clear, professional communication skills
Positive and enthusiastic attitude
