Full Job Description

Lauxes Grates is a fast-growing business designing and manufacturing premium drainage solutions across Australia, New Zealand and the United States.

We are seeking a reliable and energetic Warehouse Assistant to join our collaborative QLD warehouse team in Molendinar. This is a hands-on role supporting picking, packing, dispatch, receipting, stock control and the safe flow of daily warehouse operations.

This is a full-time, Monday-to-Friday opportunity, with operating hours from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm and no weekend work.

From day one, you will receive a structured workplace induction, role-specific training and ongoing support. For motivated and career-focused team members, there is a genuine pathway to build capability, take on greater responsibility and progress within our growing business.

Key Responsibilities

Complete daily warehouse tasks and priorities safely, accurately and efficiently.
Pick, pack, receive and dispatch customer orders.
Follow safe work procedures, risk controls and reasonable WHS directions.
Conduct pre-start checks and operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and within licence requirements.
Identify and promptly report hazards, incidents, near misses, damaged equipment and unsafe conditions.
Maintain accurate stock records and organised storage locations.
Keep work areas, walkways and emergency access points clean and clear.
Communicate delays, stock issues and operational risks promptly.
Participate in toolbox talks, training and continuous improvement activities.
Support colleagues and contribute to a positive, accountable and safety-first team culture.

About You

You bring a strong work ethic, practical thinking and a willingness to learn. You take responsibility for your work, communicate clearly and understand that safe performance is successful performance.

You will ideally have:

Previous warehouse, logistics or dispatch experience.
A strong commitment to work health and safety.
Good organisation, communication and teamwork skills.
A reliable, hands-on and proactive approach.
The ability to follow procedures and complete work accurately.
Confidence to raise hazards, ask questions and contribute ideas.
A current driver’s licence and forklift licence.
The capacity to perform the inherent physical requirements of the role safely.

A functional workplace capacity assessment will form part of the recruitment process. Lauxes Grates welcomes discussions about reasonable workplace adjustments.
