Dental Nurse/Receptionist – Go Smiles Dental Studio (Cannington, WA)

About us
Go Smiles Dental Studio is a friendly, family-focused practice located inside Westfield Carousel, Cannington. Our caring team provides personalised general, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry in a modern, welcoming clinic. We believe in creating beautiful, healthy smiles and delivering a great patient experience at every visit.

The role
We’re seeking a warm, organised Dental Nurse/Receptionist to split time between chairside assistance . This is a patient-facing role ideal for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and delivering exceptional care.

Key responsibilities

Provide efficient chairside assistance: instrument preparation, suctioning, mixing materials, and maintaining a clean, safe operatory.
Sterilisation and infection control in line with current standards and practice protocols.
Prepare patients for treatment and deliver clear post-op instructions with empathy and clarity.
Reception duties: greet patients, manage phones and emails, schedule/confirm appointments.
Accurate clinical notes, patient record management, and stock control.
Support dentists and oral health therapists across general and cosmetic procedures.
Contribute to a positive, calm, and professional team culture.

About you

Qualified Dental Nurse or experienced Dental Assistant preferred; recent grads also welcome.
Prior dental reception experience and familiarity with practice software (e.g., Exact/SOE or similar) highly regarded.
Excellent communication and customer service skills with a patient-first mindset.
Strong attention to detail, reliable time management, and a proactive, can-do attitude.
Understanding of infection prevention and control standards.
Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
