We are seeking dedicated Senior Staff Specialist and Staff Specialist Anaesthetists to join the expanding team at a major hospital, part of Queensland Health. About the Role:

You’ll be part of a forward-thinking and collaborative team that works across surgery, obstetrics, and intensive care. You’ll have the opportunity to deliver world-class care, mentor junior staff, and help shape the future of anaesthesia services in the region.

This position offers flexibility, with both full-time and part-time options available. Additionally, there’s potential for you to establish a private practice with assistance and support from local private hospitals, allowing you to build your own patient base and referral network.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering high-quality anaesthetic care in a range of specialties including surgery, obstetrics, and intensive care.
Collaborating with a dynamic multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Participating in the education and mentoring of junior medical staff.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of clinical practices within the department.

Competitive Salary: $210,332 - $266,677 per annum (full-time) with total remuneration up to $528,085 including salary sacrifice benefits.
