About the Role
As a Casual Veterinary Nurse, you'll play a vital role in supporting our veterinarians, caring for our patients, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic.
Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting veterinarians during consultations, procedures, and treatments

Surgical preparation and theatre assistance
-
Monitoring anaesthesia and patient recovery
-
Administering medications and treatments
-
Collecting and processing pathology samples
-
Providing nursing care for hospitalised patients
-
Assisting with dental procedures
-
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection control
-
Supporting client education and communication
-
Assisting with general clinic operations and workflow
This is a varied role that will allow you to utilise your nursing skills across medical, surgical, and hospital cases.
About You
We're looking for someone who:

Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent qualification)

Has previous clinical veterinary nursing experience, ideally 2+ years

Is confident with surgical nursing and anaesthetic monitoring

Demonstrates excellent patient care and animal handling skills

Has strong communication and customer service abilities

Works well independently and as part of a collaborative team

Is organised, reliable, and proactive

Brings a positive attitude and genuine passion for veterinary nursing
