Full Job Description

We have Trailer Mechanic/Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic/Diesel Fitter positions available across our various locations. Main duties involve servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of road transport vehicles and equipment at our local workshops.

Salaries are dependent on skills & experience -

Bruce Rock, WA, 6418 - From $85,000
Forrestfield, WA, 6058 - From $79,500
Geraldton, WA, 6530 - From $85,000
Port Hedland, WA, 6721 - From $105,000

These positions are -

Full Time Permanent
Various rosters available
Tool Allowance $35.00 paid fortnightly
ASAP Start !

The key responsibilities for these roles include:

Servicing and maintenance of trucks and trailers, as per client requirements
Trailer/truck assembly
Interpreting drawings and procedures.
Working on braking systems including ABS/EBS systems
Working with truck/trailer electrical, air and hydraulic systems
Working on hydraulics and PTO systems used in tippers and side tippers
Re-setting wheel alignment using modern 3D camera equipment

Required skills and experience:

Any mechanical Trade Certification preferred - HV / Fitters are encouraged to apply.
For non-Trade Certified applicants, 2-3 years experience required working on similar equipment.
Forklift ticket (high risk licence)
Have Australian working rights
