Full Job Description

We have Spray Painter /Vehicle Painter positions available across our various locations. Main duties involve spray painting and sand blasting a variety of road transport vehicles and equipment at our local workshops.

Salaries are dependent on skills & experience -

Bruce Rock, WA, 6418 - From $85,000
Forrestfield, WA, 6058 - From $79,500
Geraldton, WA, 6530 - From $85,000
Port Hedland, WA, 6721 - From $105,000

These positions are -

Full Time Permanent
Various rosters available
Tool Allowance $35.00 paid fortnightly
ASAP Start !

The key responsibilities for these roles include:

Spray paint and sand blast road transport equipment.
Preparing surfaces for paint application
Mix and colour match paints to meet the requirements of the job.
Brush touch, paint/blend any defective areas of coated items.
Clean work areas and spray equipment.
Good people and communication skills.
Support and endorse the company vision, mission and family values.
Meet deadlines & quality requirements to satisfy customer demand.
Perform all duties whilst adhering to WHS requirements, & always with the correct use of PPE.
Follow systems & procedures & complete paperwork.

Required skills and experience:

Trade Qualification in Paint & Blast (preferred)
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in trailer/heavy duty vehicle spray painting/sandblasting
Have a good knowledge & recognition of painting & blasting heavy duty vehicles
Forklift ticket (high risk licence)
Driving licence
