About the role:
We’ve currently looking for a motivated Health Information Clerk to join our busy team at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside on a casual basis. This is a great opportunity for a detailed-orientated clerk to provide timely administrative support, while ensuring compliance, privacy and confidentiality.
Some of the key responsibilities in this role could include:
Preparing, retrieving, preparing and archiving patient medical records
Scanning, uploading and maintaining patient medical records
Supporting clinicians throughout the hospital with timely access for medical records
Undertaking general administrative duties with the Health Informatics department

Things that work for us:
Previous experience in a medical records, health information services or healthcare administration is highly desirable
Strong attention to detail with
Previous experience in perioperative or acute care (desirable but not essential)
High level of computer literacy (electronic medical record systems advantageous)
