Our Resi Sales team sits at the heart of REA’s Hive model, bringing together Relationship Managers, Specialist Sales, Customer Success and Sales Support to help residential customers get bigger, better results.

It’s a collaborative, high-energy team focused on building strong customer partnerships, identifying growth opportunities and connecting customers with the right expertise at the right time. With a strong one-team mindset, the team combines commercial discipline, product knowledge and customer focus to drive adoption, unlock growth and deliver meaningful outcomes for customers and REA.

What the role is all about

The Senior Relationship Manager is a strategic partner to customers and the internal Hive, acting as the link between customer needs and the people, products and support required to drive growth and success.

Customer portfolio management

Manage and maintain relationships with a portfolio of tiered customers in a defined market or region, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed.
Build depth of relationship with key customers and deliver effective engagement programs that strengthen long-term partnerships.
Act as the customer’s trusted advisor for commercial and strategic conversations, including partnership reviews, subscription mix, growth planning and account-level concerns.

Revenue growth and retention

Identify customer needs and growth opportunities, and connect the right Hive team members to progress those opportunities.
Grow revenue through product upgrades while maintaining strong product retention across the portfolio.
Retain and expand customer investment across REA products including core subscriptions, depth products, commercial products and strategic add-ons.

Product adoption and customer value

Drive product and feature usage through regular business reviews and by connecting customers with Customer Success and other specialists where needed.
Help customers maximise the value of their REA partnership across subscriptions, branding, add-ons and performance products.
Advocate for key platforms and loyalty propositions that improve customer outcomes and engagement.

Cross-functional collaboration

Maintain strong working relationships across Specialist Sales, Customer Success, Customer Support and Sales Support to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Engage internal specialists at the right time to support growth, onboarding, product training, commercial conversations and issue resolution.
Drive a strategic portfolio and territory plan with active Hive team engagement.

Senior role expectations

Demonstrate leadership qualities and act as a mentor to peers through knowledge sharing, best-practice coaching and contribution in team environments.
Support strong team operating rhythm through portfolio planning, development check-ins and effective Hive collaboration.
Contribute to a high-performance, customer-focused culture by helping teams work seamlessly and by role modelling strategic, commercially focused customer management.
