TryCleaning is a proudly Australian, Brisbane-based small business built on genuine craft: bespoke home cleaning that makes for a cleaner home and an easier life — for our clients and our team. We're not a franchise and we're not a crew that churns through houses. About the role
In this role you can expect:
Ongoing paid training. You'll be a trusted partner to our clients, delivering a bespoke service that respects the unique comfort standards of every home. We back that with a structured training program — 13 modules covering everything from deep bathroom work to steam cleaning, chemical safety and client communication — plus a weekly paid training day. You'll be shown how and why, not thrown in the deep end.
All equipment and chemicals supplied. We provide your full kit from day one, so there's no cost to you and every client gets a consistent result.
Full support. You'll be backed by our Head Cleaner and Director, plus an admin and operations team — rostering, supplies, client communication and pay are handled, so you can focus on the work.
A real career path. Our 5-level progression system takes you from standard home cleans through to specialist work (steam, carpet, bond cleans), team leadership, and quoting — with new equipment, responsibilities and pay conversations unlocked at each level. We promote from within, and as we grow into aged care, NDIS and commercial work, our leaders will grow with us.
Casual position with award pay, penalty rates for weekends, super, and paid travel between jobs.
Your duties will include (but aren't limited to):
Standard home cleaning
Deep cleans and full home detail cleans
Bond / end-of-lease cleans
Oven and stainless steel cleaning
Office and warehouse cleans
You'll start with standard cleans and progress into specialist work as you train up — we never send you into a job you haven't been trained for.

Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently in clients' homes
Trustworthy and discreet — our clients hand us their keys
Physically fit for a hands-on role
Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
Smartphone (our scheduling and checklist app runs on it)
Hold — or be willing to obtain — a National Police Check
Available weekdays, including our Thursday training day
Eligible to work in Australia
Experience is great, but attitude wins — we'd rather train the right person than hire the wrong "experienced" one.
Pay
Casual rates are $34 + 12% superannuation an hour, with penalty rates for evenings, Saturdays and public holidays. Travel between jobs is paid (time + per-km allowance for one-after-another shifts, or paid broken shift allowance).
