Job Details & Role

About your service: Bowral Public School, Bowral

Hourly Rate: $47- $50 Per Hour + 12% Super.

Additional payment of $2.00- $2.15 per hour available under Worker Retention Payment Scheme.

Days Required: Monday to Friday. Five days per week required during vacation care only.
Vacation Care: Starting from 28 September 2026. Upto 38 Hours per week.
Contract: Casual.
Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.

Your Impact: Key Responsibilities

As our OOSH Service Coordinator (Vacation Care) you will:

Be the Visionary: You’re the boss of the service! You’ll plan and program epic science experiments, sports tournaments, fun educational activities and creative arts that kids actually want to do!
Safety First, Fun Always: Lead a safe, inclusive environment while every child feels like a rockstar.
Chef it up: Whip up healthy, tasty snacks that keep the energy levels high.
Champion Quality: Work with your Programs Engagement Manager on Assessment & Ratings with the full backing of our compliance experts at our unit TEG Compass.
The Community Connector: Ensure every stakeholder is heard and valued while building successful, integrated OOSH programs.
The Clockwork Catalyst: Manage the day-to-day "business" of the service, ensuring everything runs like clockwork.

What You Bring to the Mix

The Qualification: You’ve got (or are studying toward) a Diploma, Bachelor’s, Masters in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or School Aged Care, Community Services, Youth Work and more. Check with us if your qualification is approved! (Desirable but not essential).
The Vibe: You’re warm, engaging, and have a "can-do" attitude.
The Essentials: A valid Working With Children Check, Child Protection Training Certificate, First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management (willingness to obtain).
Master Connector: Whether you’re engaging with a curious child, empowering an Educator, or navigating a high-level meeting with school leadership, you build trust and connection in minutes.
