About the role:
As a Director you’ll form part of the North Divisions Senior Leadership Team, working with the Executive Director to manage the strategic and operational aspects of specific service delivery areas including Youth Residential Services and Home Based Care, working alongside the two Directors in Family Services & Family Violence, and Youth and Community Services.
This position covers our North Division incorporating Loddon, Mallee, Hume Merri-bek and North East Melbourne, with offices in Bendigo, Kyneton, Maryborough, Echuca, Mildura, Swan Hill, Broadmeadows and Preston.
The Out of Home Care portfolio includes a range of programs such as home based care, kinship care, residential care (8), homelessness services (2), case management services and more, all with a strong focus on evidence-based approaches. This Director position includes significant risk areas with the potential to create service delivery connections and service interventions or models across the streams of service delivery. There is potential for innovation, whilst also maintaining a strong focus on performance and risk management.
You will be responsible for delivering high quality and responsive services against our operational requirements and developing these services in line with the overall Anglicare Victoria (AV) Strategy. We want you to bring your operational, managerial and leadership skills, a committed and compassionate approach, and a growth mindset with a strategic intent, to improve the lives of vulnerable children youth and families in Victoria.

- Experienced in leading large teams across varied portfolios.
- You will bring a comprehensive understanding and experience in the human service delivery system, with reference to Out of Home Care and Child Protection, and relevant theoretical frameworks and evidence-based models relating to, youth services, family services, children and young people.
- Exceptional leadership capability in respect to people, performance and outcomes in both internal operations and the delivery of great outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder management.
- Capacity to foresee, manage and resolve service, financial and human resource issues at a local level and in line with organisational policies, standards and expectations proactively and expertly.

As a Director at AV you’ll receive:
- A total salary package of $213,869.12 broken down this is:
Base $177,954.57
Super $22,914.55
Car allowance $13,000.00 OR a fully maintained vehicle
- Access to Salary Packaging of up to $15,900.
- As the program areas cover metro and Bendigo travel is required, but you can be based at Preston or Bendigo.
