We are a successful manufacturing company based in Bendigo, experiencing exciting growth both nationally and internationally. We are looking for a Administration Assistant to join our team on a casual basis and provide valuable support across our administration and production operations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is keen to learn, enjoys being part of a team, and is looking to build a career in administration. For the right person, there may be an opportunity for this position to develop into a full-time role in the future.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable and willing to learn. You don’t need to have extensive experience — we’re more interested in finding someone with the right attitude and a genuine interest in developing their skills.

You will ideally have:

An interest in administration and basic accounting
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
A friendly and welcoming manner, as you will sometimes be the first point of contact for our business
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
Strong communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team

What You’ll Be Doing

Working alongside our Business Administration Manager and Production Manager, your role will include a variety of tasks such as:

Providing general administration support to the Business Administration and Production teams
Answering emails and telephone enquiries
Assisting with basic data entry into Xero
Scanning and organising receipts and documentation
Completing general data entry
Assisting the Production team with domestic freight bookings
Supporting the onboarding process for new employees
Helping with a range of other ad hoc administration tasks as required
