If you have heavy vehicle experience and want to specialise with one of Australia's most trusted truck brands, Frizelle Sunshine Automotive has a role worth your attention. We are looking for a Heavy Vehicle Technician to join the Service team at our Isuzu Trucks dealership in Arundel on a permanent, full-time basis.

About the role:

Working exclusively on Isuzu Trucks, you will develop deep brand expertise while tackling a broad range of mechanical and diagnostic work that keeps commercial customers' fleets moving.

Your day-to-day will include:

Performing scheduled servicing, mechanical repairs, and fault diagnosis across the Isuzu Trucks range, building specialised knowledge that is genuinely valued in the industry
Conducting detailed vehicle inspections and health checks, giving you full visibility of each unit and the confidence to recommend the right course of action
Accurate job card and warranty documentation, ensuring your work is properly recorded and claims are processed without unnecessary delays
Working with Isuzu-specific diagnostic tools and technical service information, expanding your capability with every job
Collaborating closely with Service Advisors to keep commercial customers informed and their downtime to a minimum
Upholding workshop safety standards and manufacturer procedures, contributing to a culture where every team member finishes the day safely

About You:

You are a trade-qualified Heavy Vehicle Technician who takes ownership of your work and is ready to grow your expertise within a respected truck dealership.

More about you:

A current Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent trade qualification
Solid hands-on experience servicing and repairing heavy vehicles in a dealership or fleet workshop environment
Confidence using electronic diagnostic equipment and interpreting technical data accurately
A current Queensland open drivers licence, including the ability to move heavy vehicles safely on site
Strong attention to detail, because commercial customers depend on repairs being completed correctly the first time
A team-oriented approach, contributing to a workshop where collaboration and mutual support are part of the everyday culture
