Senior Maths & Science Tutor – Yr 11/12 (Adelaide)
Location: Suburbs of Adelaide - in-home, travel to students
Pay: $40 -$50 an hour

About the Role
As our business continues to grow, senior subjects represent our greatest area of need. You will provide one-on-one tuition to Year 11 and 12 students in their homes, matched according to subject expertise, location and availability. We manage the administrative aspects of the role, including scheduling, billing and parent communication, allowing you to focus on teaching.
What We Are Looking For
- An ATAR of 90 or above, or the equivalent (for example, an IB score)
- Current enrolment in a STEM-related university degree, ideally one that continues to draw on the subject matter you would be tutoring
- Demonstrated strength in Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or other SACE topics, having completed and performed well in these subjects
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and adjust your approach as needed
- Reliability, including prompt responses when offered a match and consistent attendance once engaged with a family
- A genuine interest in education and student development
- Access to your own transport and a current driver's licence
- A current Working With Children Check, or a willingness to obtain one prior to commencing
Commitment We are seeking tutors who can commit to the full academic year, rather than a single term. This provides consistency for senior students preparing for their exams, while offering tutors more stable hours and the opportunity to build a stronger working relationship with their students over time.
