Full Job Description

Adelaide Distinctive Plastering Pty Ltd is seeking a Solid Plasterer/Renderer to join the team.

With over 15 years in the industry, we are committed to providing exceptional solid plastering and rendering services.

To be successful in this role, you need to:

Demonstrate a proactive and positive attitude.
Be self-motivated and driven.
Be able to follow guidance.
Collaborate effectively within a team.

Key tasks include:

Rendering and texture coating to external and internal surfaces.
Repairing damaged plaster, render and texture finishes to match existing surfaces.
Preparing surfaces by cleaning, patching and applying primers or bonding agents.
Mixing plaster, render and texture materials to the required specifications.
Installing angle beads, expansion joints and reinforcing mesh where required.
Applying skim coats and achieving smooth, level and high-quality finishes.
Applying plaster coverings to interior and exterior surfaces.
Conducting pre-start safety and risk assessments on all jobs prior to commencing any works.
Providing excellent customer service and maintaining positive relationships with our clients.
Adherence to all workplace health and safety legislation, processes and procedures.

Qualifications & experience required:

At least one year of relevant work experience.
A Certificate III or higher in Solid Plastering (or a related field), or a minimum of three years of relevant work experience in lieu of formal qualifications.
