About the Opportunity

We’re looking for a Senior Credit Controller to join our Finance team in Heatherton, taking ownership of a portfolio of complex, high-value customer accounts.

This is a great step up for an experienced Credit or AR professional who enjoys working autonomously, influencing outcomes, and being the go-to for escalations and risk decisions. You’ll play a key role in improving cashflow, strengthening credit governance, and mentoring others across the function — all while partnering closely with stakeholders across the business.

What you’ll be doing

Managing a portfolio of complex, high-risk customer accounts
Making informed credit decisions, including holds, terms and escalations
Acting as the escalation point for disputes, overdue accounts and customer issues
Leading account reconciliations to ensure accurate, clean ledgers
Coaching and supporting Credit Controllers with technical guidance
Driving improvements in AR performance, including reducing DSO and bad debt
Identifying and implementing process improvements across credit operations

You’re Likely a Match If You have

Proven experience in Credit, Collections, or Accounts Receivable
Strong analytical skills and confidence working with complex account data
Experience managing escalations, disputes and high-value portfolios
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate
A proactive, accountable approach with strong attention to detail
The ability to build strong relationships and manage challenging conversations
