Administration & Reception Officer (100% Office Based) – Support at Home

Upper Mount Gravatt | Permanent Full-Time
$85,000–$88,000 plus superannuation and salary packaging

Make a Difference Behind the Scenes

Alzheimer’s Queensland (AQ) is seeking an organised, proactive and compassionate Administration & Reception Officer to support our Support at Home services.

Based at our Upper Mount Gravatt office, this varied role is ideal for an experienced administrator who enjoys driving daily operations and supporting a busy team, while additionally providing a welcoming presence at reception.

Because this position serves as the welcoming first point of contact for our community and provides essential daily support to our team, it is a fully on-site, office-based role.

What You’ll Do

Manage and triage telephone and email enquiries
Assist with rostering and respond to changes in client and employee schedules
Provide warm, respectful support to older people and their families
Maintain accurate client and employee records
Assist with reporting, billing and compliance administration
Track service quotes, expenses and outstanding documentation
Support meetings, onboarding, reception and office coordination
Provide occasional backup rostering support
Work closely with nursing, client relations and operational teams

About You

You will bring:

Experience in administration, client services, reception or service coordination
Professionally presented and an effective communicator, with a strong understanding that first impressions matter—both in person and over the phone
Confidence using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and digital systems
The ability to manage deadlines and changing priorities
A warm, professional and empathetic approach
Initiative, sound judgement and a commitment to following tasks through
A current Australian driver’s licence and unrestricted working rights
A current National Police Certificate, or willingness to obtain one

Experience in aged care, health, community services or Support at Home is desirable but not essential.
