About the position

This is a unique opportunity to be a part of The SEBEL kitchens’ team, inspiring excellence and creativity. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

Assist in preparing breakfast, lunch and/or dinner items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure that all ingredients are properly measured, portioned, and stored.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations at all times.
Adhere to food safety regulations while handling ingredients, cooking utensils, and equipment.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff members to ensure timely delivery of meals.
Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of food supplies.
Follow instructions from senior chefs or management regarding menu changes or special requests.

About you

Relevant qualification in Commercial cooking is preferred.
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role within a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong knowledge of different cooking techniques and culinary principles.
Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient meal preparation.
Understanding of food safety procedures.
Strong communication skills for effective coordination with team members.
