The Opportunity

Sackville Grange is a vibrant retirement community offering a perfect balance of connection, comfort, and convenience near Kew, Balwyn, and Camberwell. Surrounded by landscaped gardens, residents enjoy a relaxed lifestyle enriched by social activities and shared spaces. As a Service Coordinator you will provide key support be a trusted and friendly presence within the village, supporting residents and assisting with day-to-day needs, enquiries, and incidents. You’ll enjoy being part of a lively community and thrive in a role with variety and strong resident connection. With our villages operating around the clock, flexible availability is required, including overnight shifts when needed.

This is a permanent part-time position working Monday; Fridays and Saturdays (3:00pm – 9:30pm – Followed by a sleepover shift until 7am the following morning)

Your Impact

Supporting café and kitchen teams during meal services to create an enjoyable dining experience
Provide general admin and concierge services to residents and assist with any resident requests such as creating resident newsletters, event flyers and helping communicate activities and updates
Be the first responder to any village issues that arise including emergency calls, safety & security issues and providing first aid where needed
Coordinate fun, social and inclusive activities for the residents
Providing all rounder support across the village, including light domestic duties and maintaining shared spaces to a high standard
Assisting with administrative tasks such as creating resident newsletters, event flyers and helping communicate activities and updates

What you will bring

Experience delivering great customer service in a community focused environment (e.g. background in hospitality, retail, aged care or administration)
A welcoming and dependable nature, with confidence working autonomously
Flexibility to assist with ad hoc duties across the village, including amenities upkeep, food and beverage support, and basic admin tasks
Confidence and responsibility to manage incidents and support residents during overnight stays
Adaptable and flexible with rostering and shift arrangements as we staff our communities 24 hours a day
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain prior to employment)
Current COVID-19 Vaccinations up-to-date (required)

What we offer

Weekday Rates: $30.34/hr+ superannuation + relevant award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances
Saturday Rates: $45.51/hr+ superannuation + relevant award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances
