Full-time Fix Term 6 Months
Parramatta CBD

About the role:
Uniting is seeking a Service Desk Analyst to join our expanding IT Service Desk team in Parramatta CBD. This Full-time position Fixed term 6 months role will provide first-line IT support to all Uniting staff, ensuring efficient and reliable technology services and assistance to our frontline teams.

Responsibilities:

Providing remote Tier 1 support through phone, email or ticketing system (ServiceNow)
Analyse, troubleshoot, resolve, liaise and prioritise incidents, problems and requests.
Communicating to users the progress of their requests/incidents from receipt to closure.
Accurate logging of service requests in a timely and efficient manner.
Work with a variety of support groups to resolve incidents.

Skills and experience:

Previously worked in a Customer Service, Service Desk, or IT Support role.
Knowledge or understanding of Information Technology hardware and software theory and practical.
High level of customer service skills and commitment to addressing customer enquiries.
Substantial analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Previous experience with Ticketing systems and remote support software.

Even better:

Experience with high volumes, data entry and tight deadlines in a medium to large-scale IT environment
Ability to accurately identify and classify symptoms and possible causes of problems to

ensure appropriate assignment to specialist areas.

Ability to manage Service Desk calls and tickets to specified Service Level Agreement time frames.
