Full Job Description

We are seeking an Administration and Finance Officer for a unique role with our Digital Printing firm in Jolimont. Due to the nature of the role and the business, it will be quite varied from week to week, with some duties being carried out daily and some duties changing regularly.

A normal day would include (but is not limited to) duties such as:

Front-of-house assistance to clients (assisting with job tracking, completion date estimates, and other general queries).
Invoicing, processing payments, and conducting other financial processes using MYOB.
Payroll processes such as approving weekly hours, processing pay slips, and approving leave applications.
Processing payments to creditors and liaising with their contacts regarding credit account details/information.
Stock ordering, credit management, and price negotiation.
Liaising with the offsite Bookkeeper and offsite Accounting Team regularly regarding business tax requirements.
Booking couriers and arranging delivery of completed jobs as required.
Assisting the owner/operator in a Personal Assistant capacity.
Human Resource duties (new staff inductions, issuing formal and disciplinary notices to staff, acting as the first point of contact for all HR considerations).

This position works closely with another role here; so occasional job sharing/leave cover is required. The ability to work closely and effectively as part of a team is, therefore, an essential asset.

Due to the requirements of this position, the ideal candidate would:

Possess the highest degree of integrity: the role is trusted with sensitive financial and personal information, and the highest level of personal conduct is essential.
Have previous experience in an administrative/financial officer role (Print Industry experience is highly desirable).
Have advanced interpersonal and problem solving-skills and possess a strong sense of initiative.
Must be an amiable and approachable person; welcoming and helpful with daily clients.
Provide a National Police Clearance less than 6 months old.
Be proactive in updating inter-company records (such as Policies and Procedures, Asset schedules, safety documentation and ensuring all staff are appropriately accredited – i.e. First Aid etc.)

The position is full-time but can be flexible for the right candidate, operating from 7am – 4pm Monday to Thursday, and 6am – 3pm Fridays.
