We're looking for a passionate and reliable Cook to join our Cranbourne kitchen team.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated cook who enjoys preparing quality food in a fast-paced kitchen. You'll lead the kitchen operations and report to the multi-site Head Chef at the Central Kitchen to prepare authentic Indian dishes, maintain high food quality standards and contribute to a positive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook Indian cuisine, street food and fusion dishes according to recipes and standards
Assist with food preparation, mise en place and daily kitchen operations
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency
Follow food safety, hygiene and HACCP procedures at all times
Ensure cleanliness and organisation of kitchen workstations
Assist with stock rotation, inventory and minimising food wastage
Work efficiently during busy service periods
Support the Head Chef and kitchen team with daily operations
Assist with receiving and storing deliveries correctly

What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Cook or Kitchen Team Member in a commercial kitchen
Experience with Indian cuisine is preferred
Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (preferred)
Good understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Reliable, punctual and well organised
Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
