We’re looking for an experienced Team Leader / Shift Supervisor to join our busy and dynamic sports retail store. If you’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service, we’d love to hear from you.

The Role

This is a Level 3 Retail Award position offering approximately 30 hours per week (with some flexibility), including rotating weekend shifts.

As a Team Leader / Shift Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the store. You’ll support the management team by leading staff, maintaining high store standards and ensuring every customer enjoys an exceptional shopping experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

Leading, motivating and supporting the team during each shift.
Delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
Coaching team members and providing guidance on the sales floor.
Assisting with daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
Maintaining visual merchandising and store presentation.
Managing stock replenishment and ensuring accurate inventory practices.
Helping achieve sales targets and driving store performance.
Creating a positive, energetic and productive team culture.

What We’re Looking For

Previous retail management or supervisory experience is essential.
A natural leader who is proactive, approachable and confident.
Outstanding customer service skills with a genuine passion for helping people.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
The ability to motivate a team and lead by example.
Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to make decisions.
A positive attitude, reliability and flexibility to work a rotating weekend roster.
A passion for sport, fitness or an active lifestyle is highly regarded.
