The Northeast Health (NHW) Post Graduate program offers a number of courses in partnership with University partners that suits the needs of currently practising Registered Nurses - this opportunity may be for you in 2027!

Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute, sub-acute, aged care and community services.

If you are a registered nurse and would like to explore post graduate study through an employment based training program this opportunity may be for you! Northeast Health Wangaratta in partnership with Universities are inviting applications for Post Graduate courses (Graduate certificate, Diploma and Master of Nursing) in 2027. Students will learn how to recognise, respond to, and manage patients with acute presentations and evaluate care delivery to improve patient experience and outcomes. The emphasis is on multidisciplinary, holistic, patient centred care that is evidence-based.

The course provides registered nurse working at Northeast Health Wangaratta access to a wide variety of specialisations with the focus in acute wards (Medical and Surgical nursing). The course is delivered in a flexible, blended learning approach that combines face-to-face workshops with online study and practical tutorials that fit around your work commitments in your own hospital's relevant work setting with mentoring and supervision from a dedicated clinical support and educator team.
