ASSISTANT BAKER WANTED

BE PART OF A TEAM THAT PRODUCES ARTISAN SOURDOUGH BREAD AND SOURDOUGH PASTRIES THAT ARE SECOND TO NONE IN AUSTRALIA

WE ARE LOOKING FOR LIKE-MINDED STAFF TO COMPLEMENT OUR GROWING BREAD TEAM.

AS WE USE ONLY NATURAL INGREDIENTS ( NO PREMIXES) AND SMALLER FLOUR MILLS , YOU WILL NEED TO DEMONSTRATE AN INTEREST IN THE ARTISAN APPROACH, WHICH INVOLVES HAND MOULDING AND A DESIRE TO HELP CREATE PRODUCTS THAT ARE DESIGNED TO ENHANCE GOOD HEALTH.

AS ASSISTANT YOU WILL BE ASSISTING THE BAKER IN THERE DAILY TASK, YOU WILL NEED TO BE PHYSICALY FIT AS LIFTING EQUIPMENT/PRODUCT AND LOT OF MOVING AROUND IS REQUIRED

YOU WILL ENJOY A GOOD WORK / LIFESTYLE BALANCE, SHIFTS ARE USUALLY OF 8 HOURS DURATION, BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 7AM AND 6PM, WEEKEND AND EVENING WORK POSSIBLE WITH EXTRA COMPENSATION .

THIS POSITION IS OFFERED AS A CASUAL POSITION, LEADING TO THE OPTION FOR PERMANENT POSITION

NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED, AT BURLEIGH BAKER WE ARE LOOKING FOR EMPLOYEE WITH THE RIGHT ATTITUDE AND PASSION FOR FOOD.

WE WILL PUT TIME AND EFFORT TO TRAIN YOU AND TO HAVE A RETURN ON INVESTMENT WE ASK FOR A MINIMUM COMITMENT OF A MONTH SO ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE THE RIGHT TO WORK IN AUSTRALIA FOR A MINIMUM OF 6 MONTH

OUR BAKEHOUSE LOCATED IN VARSITY LAKES GOLD COAST 4227

It will assist us if you provide your home suburb location and visa length if you are a temporary visa holder.
