Full Job Description

Educators, choose when you work and grow your skills and experience.
Casual shifts offered, mornings (2 hrs) & afternoons (4 hrs), Monday - Friday.
Starting from $36.90ph, including 25% casual loading + salary packaging.

Your new role

Whether you are an experienced Early Childhood Educator seeking flexibility with your hours or just getting started, join our Glengarry OSHC team, and we can support you.

As a Casual Educator, you’ll work morning and/or afternoon shifts before and after school, helping deliver fun, safe and inclusive programs for primary school-aged children.

No experience yet? That’s okay. We provide on-the-job training, support and mentoring from a dedicated Service Leader and experienced educators.

This could be a perfect try-out option if you’re thinking about becoming qualified, as long as you commence study within 3 months, we can employ you while you learn.

You are (or are willing to be):

Working With Children Check-ready
First aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma trained (we can support you to obtain this)

Pathways to qualification

There are many different educational pathways to be qualified for this position.

Whether it’s a Bachelor of Arts, Science, or a Diploma of Community Services, these are just some of the qualifications equivalent to a Diploma in Early Childhood Education (check your qualification here).

If you’re not yet qualified, you’ll need to commence study within 3 months of starting.
